  One interesting footnote on our visit to MIT--before I get back to work--is that our tour guide told us that the school makes surplus equipment available to students to further their own research. The items made available to students at no charge included a hamster, a laser and 13 computers--for one student (not everything, just the 13 computers--someone else got the laser and yet another lucky student got the hamster). |
