Well, as a part of my agreement with Paul Allen with respect to the big game, about which enough has already been said, I am obligated to plug Paul's blog every day for a week.
The truth is, I am eager to plug his blog. Paul's blog is one of the very best on entrepreneurship.
Paul, and Dan Taggert, founded Infobases in 1990. Infobases was a successful CD-ROM publisher of religious and educational CD ROMs. In 1997, again with Dan, Paul founded Ancestry.com and MyFamily.com in 1998. Today, MyFamily.com is reportedly doing about $150 million in revenue and is quite profitable.
Paul next launched 10X Marketing, which was acquired by Innuity Inc. (OTC: INNU) in 2005. (Full disclosure: my firm provided Innuity services with respect to it acquisition of 10X.)
Paul is a serial entrepreneur within the very best meaning of that phrase. If you are an entrepreneur, especially an Internet entrepreneur, you should be reading Paul's blog.
