One of the highlights of my week, perhaps the highlight of my crazy week, was having breakfast with Jeff Barson.
Jeff is a great guy with a true entrepreneurial vision. We chatted briefly, but I would like to follow up with him on this topic, about the fact that he worked for several years as a bona fide artist, an oil painter. He actually made a living at this.
The creativity required to be a good artist, it seems, has a close parallel to the vision required of a good entrepreneur.
I have long believed that the difference between a great entrepreneur and me, is vision. I understand leadership and execution, management and finance, but the real key to big success is the creative vision that allows someone to really change the world.
Jeff has that kind of vision!
