
Today I visited beautiful Visalia, California. I had never been there before.
Visiting with a prospective client, I learned that California's Central Valley contains the three highest producing agricultural counties in the nation.
One observation about economics and pricing power. From Salt Lake, the only flights into Fresno are Delta flights. The price: $1,000. From Salt Lake, Jet Blue, Southwest and Delta all serve Oakland. The price: $230.
It takes almost four hours to drive from Oakland to Visalia. I rented a very nice car for the drive.







I'm glad you liked it here! If you came in March (when this blog was posted) the weather was probably pretty nice too. It's funny; many people don't realize how much agriculture revenue is actually generated here.
