My lunch friend yesterday recommended that I read the Warren Buffet shareholder letters from Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK.A) and today he followed up with a link to the latest one.
I confess, I had never read them. As much as I admire Warren Buffet, I haven't been a student.
So I read the letter today. Fascinating stuff. The "letter" is more than 20 pages long and is witty, thoughtful and educational.
My friend suggested reading all of the old letters. Having now read one, I agree. The management insights, in addition to the investment insights, make the reading worthwhile.
But of course, I'm not telling you anything you didn't already know.
