I've posted my thoughts on HireVue in this forum a number of times (here and here). I believe HireVue is one of those truly radical innovations that will revolutionize the hiring process over the next ten years.
HireVue marked an interesting milestone this week with an article in the New York Post describing the on-line interview process. The author of the article interviewed a number of people who had used HireVue, including yours truly, and got their take on the issue.
I was quoted in the article as having said, "If an idiot comes into the office for a live interview, good manners dictate that you give him at least 20 minutes. With a video interview, I can shut him down without feeling bad just by clicking my mouse."
I did say that, but in fairness to all the people I've interviewed on HireVue, I should have said that "if someone who is not a good fit for the job comes into the office..."
In any case, I still like HireVue.
For the record, I have no interest beyond that of a customer in HireVue.

Devin it was great to read about your experience with HireVue in the NY Post. I was wondering who David was but I guess they got your name wrong. Maybe you should as for a retraction :)
Anyway thanks for being such a great customer and advocate of HireVue. I owe you a few bowls of oatmeal at MarketSt.
