Phil Burns has been leading the charge to get Seth Godin to come to Utah. The effort requires $25,000. Think of this as 500 people paying $50 to both hear him speak and for FIVE copies of his new book, The Dip.
If you would like to participate in the effort to get Seth Godin to come to Utah, you can make a pledge here. Below, I'll list three reasons you should want to pledge.
Click here to see a Seth sample on YouTube.
1. Insight: You can learn more from Seth, the most insightful marketer of our day, in an hour than you can learn from other "experts" in a semester.
2. Action: You and I both know, sometimes it isn't just knowing what to do that matters, but having the conviction to do it--Seth will pump you up to actually do it!
3. Fun: Most meetings and conferences you'll attend this year will be, at best, insightful; most will just be tolerable. Seth will make this one fun.
I hope to see you at the Salt Palace on the 24th of May!

$50 to hear Seth Godin speak? I'm in. I predict it will be more interesting (and entertaining) than the breakfast I attended a few weeks back with Jeff Immelt (hosted by Wells Fargo). Though, I can't predict whether it will be more fun than attending the Berkshire Hathaway shareholder's meeting this weekend. Immelt, Buffet, and Godin in a 6 month period. Not bad for an MBA student.
Cheers,
Jason
