The Wall Street Journal published an article (subscription required) today about folks using YouTube to preserve and share family history for posterity.
I found this interesting because I've been posting family videos for just this purpose on YouTube for over a year now. It is a wonderful way to share family videos, even if it is embarrassing when the audience includes strangers who laugh at the family.
Most of my family videos get embedded into my other blog (warning, my other blog is so boring my wife won't read it) where I write about my family history. Here's a video sample. (This is my brother relating a childhood memory about my grandfather, who passed away in 1988.)
