
The Key Bank Tower in downtown Salt Lake City was imploded early this morning. From the roof of my downtown condo I had a great view of the action. I video taped the event and took a few hundred still photos.

The implosion essentially completes the demolition process for the downtown city block where the tower was located. Construction of a new retail mall, residential units and new office space begins shortly.








There must be some kind of cinematographic award in there somewhere… love the animation! I barely even recognize Salt Lake.
